Don't miss this chance to meet New York Times best-selling crime
author Karin Slaughter, whose books have sold more than 30 million copies
worldwide.
Best known for her Grant
County and Will Trent series,
Slaughter travels back to 1970s Atlanta in her
new stand-alone title, Cop
Town.
Introducing two female police officers at different points in
their investigative careers, Slaughter highlights not only a thrilling crime
but a historical view of women entering a predominantly male profession.
Slaughter's graphic portrayal of the rampant racism, homophobia,
and misogyny of cop culture in the 1970s, the winning leads, the retro setting,
and a riveting plot make this one of her best.
Books will be available for purchase and signing courtesy of
Whitcoulls.
Join us for a welcome glass of wine at 5.30pm courtesy of
Glengarry Wines.
